Local couple Alexandra and Andres held their elegant white and gold wedding reception at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve last April. Their event included several multicultural elements that made it truly a celebration about them! They had a church ceremony in Celebration, then journeyed with their guests over to the gorgeous Vue Ballroom at the Swan Reserve for their reception.
There was so much to enjoy about Alexandra and Andres’ wedding! From Alexandra’s touching first look with her father to the special reception entertainment they included and the fireworks to end their night, it was a day they will never forget. There were so many fun and elegant elements that it’s hard to touch on them all, but let’s hit the highlights!
Among the beautiful white and gold wedding details Alexandra and Andres included in their big day were their attire, including Alexandra’s gown and accessories and her bridesmaids’ dresses, their lush white wedding floral, their gold centerpiece stands and votive candles, and their white table linens with gold Chiavari chairs. Even the belly dancer fit the theme in her stunning gold outfit! The real showstopper was their white and gold wedding cake, covered in gold leaf and topped with a gold “It was always you” topper. So romantic!

What was something about this wedding that really stood out to you?
The father of the bride surprised the couple and their guests with a belly dancer that honored the cultures of both sides of the family. Everyone loved it! Such a fun surprise!

What was something about the wedding day that you found particularly touching?
The father of the bride is someone we work with at the Swan and Dolphin, so it was such an honor to help him and his family with such an important day in their lives! Seeing Jim and Alexandra during their father/daughter dance was so special and brought a tear to my eye!

What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
“Millionaire” by Chris Stapleton.
