Love-Filled Blush and Navy Wedding | Becky and Max at the WDW Swan and Dolphin Resort
THE LOW-DOWN
After multiple postponements due to COVID-19, Becky and Max finally got the chance to experience their stunning blush and navy wedding at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort this past January. This sweet couple traveled to Orlando from Massachusetts to celebrate with their family members and friends. We were honored to be a part of it!
We thought Becky and Max’s decision to have a blush and navy wedding was absolutely perfect. Although the couple initially planned a spring wedding, their beautiful and elegant color scheme transitioned seamlessly to their alternative winter date. Some of our favorite elements that captured the blush and navy wedding color scheme were the attire (a classic!), the blush pink incorporated into their floral and centerpieces, their navy blue ombre wedding cake, and the blush pink Minnie ears worn by the bridesmaids.
There were other fun Disney elements for everyone to enjoy, as well! From Becky’s Mickey Mouse bangle bracelet and ring to the gold Happily Ever After Mickey and Minnie cake topper, there was a little Disney magic everywhere you looked. Perhaps our very favorite wedding detail from this event, though, was Becky and Max’s choreographed first dance! We don’t see them often, and they’re always so special when we do.

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Becky and Max were an absolute joy to plan with. They had to postpone twice due to the pandemic, but they stayed positive throughout it all! I truly felt like I was a part of their family once the big day got here. I had been working with them so long, and they were always so open and honest with me, I was nearly as excited for them as they were! They are such a special couple for me, and I will truly miss working with them.

Most emotional moment
Where do I even start? Becky and Max’s day was full of emotions from everyone. They went through so much to get to this day, and it was so special to them to celebrate surrounded by their family. My favorite moment was just before the reception, where Becky and Max privately practiced their choreographed first dance. Becky was a little nervous, but it was so sweet to watch her and Max help each other with the choreography and support each other. I definitely teared up! It was a true testament to their relationship.

Most surprising moment
Becky and Max had the best people surrounding them all night to celebrate their wedding day. At the end of the night during the last song, every single person got up and joined them on the dance floor, and they formed a massive conga line! It was so sweet to see just how much fun everyone was having being together for such a special occasion.

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
Becky and Max were absolute troopers, and they really wanted to get photos on the Boardwalk. It was a chilly day, but they didn’t let that bother them one bit! They soaked up the time together and got some really beautiful photos.
