THE LOW-DOWN
Sarah and Austin had their unforgettable Disney micro wedding at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in late October. This celebration was a long time coming for this fun Connecticut couple, whose original Orlando wedding got postponed due to COVID-19. We were simply delighted to finally help them have their big day!
Because they wanted to spend much of the day at the theme parks with their guests, Sarah and Austin chose to have a morning ceremony. Their attire was perfect for the brunch wedding! Sarah wore a gorgeous lace knee-length dress and Austin wore a vest and bow tie without a formal jacket. They were too adorable together!
We also enjoyed the touches of Disney this couple brought out in their wedding. Austin’s tie was bedecked with Mickey heads, and there were more Mickey heads in the form of their Rice Krispy treat wedding favors and signage. Their Mickey and Minnie water bottles were another thoughtful touch, but our favorite was definitely the Mickey head floral they had as their altar statement piece!

Favorite details
Sarah and Austin were a couple impacted by the pandemic. After having to postpone their initial wedding, they had a wedding at home to officially tie the knot. In honor of that ceremony, Sarah wanted the floral and décor to replicate that, so her bouquet and Austin’s boutonniere were nearly identical to what they had for their first wedding. Her mother, Randi, even surprised her with a Mickey head in petals, which is where Sarah and Austin stood in during their ceremony. It was so amazing to see the two days tied together, making them that much more special!

Pizza! The couple treated their guests to pizzas, cake, lemonade, and iced tea after their morning ceremony. It was a perfect, tasty treat for their guests to enjoy before heading off to the parks!
