THE LOW-DOWN
Texas grooms Dylan and Andrew held their Disney destination wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs in late February of this year. Our team had the pleasure of coordinating both their ceremony and reception. We so enjoyed working with the happy couple and seeing their loved ones celebrate with them on the big day!
The grooms chose to have a brunch wedding, which is a great choice for a destination wedding. By hosting the ceremony and reception earlier in the day, it allowed the couple and their guests to head to the theme parks to top off the day. Such a fun way to keep the celebration going!
Dylan and Andrew’s venue locale in Disney Springs allowed them to reflect their mutual love of Disney. They also gave out bags of candied spicy whiskey candied pecans with gold Mickey stickers on them as favors, which we thought was a fun and creative touch. Their wedding color scheme of blue, white, and gold suited the winter season and their nautical venue. It all came together in a truly magical event we’re sure they’ll always treasure!

How was the planning experience with the couple?
It went so well! Dylan and Andrew wanted to ensure their day was stress-free, so they upgraded my services to Day-of Coordination. They had the challenge of planning a wedding from out of state, so I was their main contact for everything and ensured they had the wedding vendors and services they needed for the day. It was just perfect!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The couple shared dances with each of their mothers and had their guests join them during each dance, making it a true family moment.

What was something about the wedding day that made you smile?
Dylan and Andrew’s siblings gave speeches during their reception that truly gave a vision of the love they share. Everyone was so moved!

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
