THE LOW-DOWN
Mackenzie and Maxwell chose a unique Better Together theme for their wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs. It was so much fun working with them on their planning and helping them bring it all together on the big day! This sweet Ohio couple ventured to Orlando for their mid-October destination wedding and had their closest family members and friends there to celebrate with them.
We loved how Mackenzie and Maxwell chose to capture their Better Together theme! They provided an ivory curtain and stand to be displayed behind their head table with a neon sign attached that said, “Better Together.” Their first dance song was “Better Together” by Jack Johnson. And they also had a small picture holder with the Better Together theme on their card box and favor table. It all came together in a beautiful and unique way!

Favorite detail
Mackenzie and Maxwell wanted to incorporate their dog in some way, so they got a golden retriever figurine to be set on the side of the cake. It looked like the dog had gotten his nose and paws into the frosting and taken a tiny bite out of the cake. So adorable!

Most emotional moment
Seeing Max’s face as Mackenzie walked down the aisle. There was so much love and admiration! After the ceremony, the guests went into their cocktail hour and Max asked the photographer to recapture the moment of Mackenzie walking out, but with just the two of them in the photo. It was so sweet of him to want to treasure this moment!

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Every moment was wonderful, but we definitely had the most fun discussing processional music. The couple requested to have a harpist and violin duo, and our harpist and violinist absolutely adored Mackenzie’s song choices. They had so much fun playing each of her requests. Mackenzie even had the Queen song “You’re My Best Friend” mixed in, because Max LOVES Queen, and the harp and violin combination made the song sound amazing!

Another detail I just had to share
The couple opted to have one of the most unique wedding favors I’ve seen: customized lottery cards for their guests!
