THE LOW-DOWN
UK couple Mark and Sean included many fun tropical wedding ideas in their October wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs. They truly captured Florida vibes in their intimate micro wedding, and we were so there for it! We adored their thoughtful wedding details and how they celebrated their wedding destination in all of their choices.
The happy grooms chose a green, aqua blue, and orange wedding color scheme, which set the tone for the rest of their amazing tropical wedding ideas. They used leis to decorate the ceremony chairs, gold string lights bedecked the bow, and they included beautiful tropical florals in the décor. Sean and Mark also wore orange and aqua boutonnieres and accents, including an aqua bow tie with palm prints on it and suspenders with tropical birds, which really popped with their matching khaki suits!
You can’t have a wedding in Disney Springs without including a little Disney magic, and that’s just what Mark and Sean did! From the Mickey grooms on their wedding stationery to the Mickey themed family tree to capture their guests’ fingerprints, hints of Disney were apparent throughout. We especially loved their Robin Hood guestbook!

The Just Marry! Team had so much fun helping Mark and Sean include all of their amazing tropical wedding ideas in their event at Paddlefish Disney Springs! We asked the couple’s wedding planner, Kristen, some questions about the event, and here is what she shared:

Did you have to use any wedding planner hacks on the big day?
I did! We put all of the tape in my emergency kit to good use. We hung up the string of lantern lights and leis with it at the ceremony and you couldn’t even tell!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Sean and Mark’s tropical theme was so much fun! They incorporated real pineapples into each centerpiece and had the cutest custom monstera tags as favors for each guest. We loved all the little details they put into making their guests feel special!

What was something about the wedding day that made you smile?
The way they processed! Sean and Mark each came out one of the side doors leading to the ceremony. We set them up one at a time so they didn’t see each other. Once their song began to play, they walked from each side of the bow to meet in the middle and walk down the aisle together, hand in hand. It was so sweet and special, and there wasn’t a dry eye to be seen!
