U.K. couple Lauren and James decided Florida was the perfect location for a tropical wedding, so that’s exactly what they decided to do! Their destination micro wedding took place on the scenic Bow Deck at Paddlefish Disney Springs in mid-April, and it couldn’t have come too soon for this sweet couple after they had to postpone due to the pandemic. We were so honored to be a part of their special day!

Lauren and James included many beautiful and creative elements to capture their tropical wedding theme. Some of our favorites included the Monstera leaf details in their signage and the Monstera leaves scribed with each guest’s name or role placed at their place setting, the pretty wood and paper fan favors with their initials on them, and the individual real coconut cups given as wedding favors. Guests were told to fill the coconuts with their favorite drink at the bar…how fun is that?

The couple’s green and white wedding color scheme was also perfect for a tropical wedding. They included lush white floral throughout their décor with plenty of greenery accents to bring out the tropical vibe and chose vivid green for the bridesmaids’ dresses. It all looked incredible in their photos! They even had a guitar player as their ceremony musician, which we thought couldn’t have been more suited to a tropical wedding.

This event had a timeless, airy feel with lots of soft wood touches, glass and acrylic, and soft flickering candles throughout. It’s definitely one we won’t soon forget! To learn more about Lauren and James’ big day, read on for the full scoop.
