THE LOW-DOWN
We just love helping couples plan their Florida vow renewals! Nicole and Jonathan held their renewal at Paddlefish Disney Springs in March earlier this year. They traveled to Orlando from Florida’s west coast to renew their vows and celebrate with their closest loved ones. We were honored to be a part of it!
Nicole and Jonathan chose a classic and romantic ivory and blush color scheme for their event. We loved how they accented it with gold metallics, adding some trendy, elegant design elements, as well. It all looked amazing for their outdoor ceremony and private reception!
We also loved some of the personal details the couple included to make their renewal truly special. They involved their children in the ceremony and got special photos with them that we’re sure they will cherish forever. For their event entertainment, they hired a live music duo, Gilly and the Girl, which is something we don’t see every day! They also opted to forgo a traditional cake and instead had a dessert display for their lunch reception.

How was the planning experience with the couple?
It was wonderful! I partnered with this couple on their planning for almost two years, and I was happy being there every step of their planning process. Nicole told me she was very thankful she upgraded our services to Day-of Coordination and Planning. She was so happy!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Instead of exchanging rings, Nicole and Jonathan exchanged grape soda pins! They vowed to be “adventure buddies for life,” inspired by the movie “Up.”

What was something about the wedding day that made you smile?
I loved how much fun they had the entire day! They danced and had smiles on their faces the entire day. I also really enjoyed the couple’s first look. It was so sweet!

Disney’s Old Key West Resort.
