Heather and Sean’s Whimsical Wildflower Wedding at Historic Venue 1902

THE LOW-DOWN

If there’s one wedding that perfectly captures the magic of a wildflower whimsical wedding, it’s Heather and Sean’s beautiful February celebration at Venue 1902 in Orlando. From the explosion of color in every floral arrangement to the sweetest handmade details sprinkled throughout the day, this one had our hearts from the very first petal. Our team had the joy of serving as their Day-Of coordinators, and we’re still smiling thinking about it!

Heather and Sean welcomed 82 of their closest family and friends to Venue 1902, a venue that was honestly a perfect match for their wildflower whimsical wedding vision. The couple exchanged their vows in the venue’s charming garden, where colorful floral clusters lined the brick aisle leading up to a rustic wooden arch adorned with wildflower blooms in shades of orange, pink, purple, and yellow. The warm wood cross-back chairs, lush greenery surrounding the space, and dappled natural light made it feel like a secret garden come to life. After the ceremony, guests moved to the Social Hall for cocktail hour before heading upstairs for the reception celebration.

The couple’s wedding color palette of terracotta and shades of green ran beautifully throughout every detail of the day, and the florals by FauxReal Orlando were absolutely breathtaking. The bride carried a gorgeous bouquet bursting with orange roses, poppies, dahlias, scabiosa, blue delphinium, purple larkspur, and lavender, all tied together with a soft sheer ribbon. It was the kind of bouquet that made everyone do a double-take. The three-tiered white wedding cake by Sweet Miss V’s was just as stunning, decorated with clusters of fresh blooms including peach roses, yellow button mums, blue delphinium, and pink wax flowers that perfectly echoed the wildflower theme throughout.

One of our favorite things about this wedding was how many heartfelt, handmade touches the couple wove into the day. The bride crafted a stunning moss seating chart using a frame and real moss that was truly a work of art. She also created adorable little book stacks for the cocktail hour tables, each one marked with their dating, engagement, and wedding anniversary dates. These are exactly the kinds of personal details that make a wedding feel uniquely yours, and guests absolutely loved them.

One of our absolute favorite surprises of the evening was the live painting reveal by Ally Allianic Art. Throughout the night, guests had been sneaking glances at the canvas as the painting took shape, and when it was finally revealed at the end of the evening, the couple’s reaction was absolutely priceless. It was the perfect finale to a perfect night.

WHAT WE LOVED

The Just Marry! team had an absolute blast being a part of Heather and Sean’s wildflower whimsical wedding at Historic Venue 1902! We asked their coordinator, Emylie, a few questions about the big day, and here’s what she had to share:

What was something about the wedding day that evoked emotion in you, the clients, and/or their guests?

The anniversary dance was such a beautiful and heartwarming moment! One by one, couples were asked to leave the dance floor until the last pair remaining had been married for 52 years. The room absolutely erupted, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was one of those spontaneous wedding moments that reminds everyone in the room exactly what love is all about!

What a unique element of the day you loved?

One of the most magical moments of the entire evening was the live painting reveal by Ally Allianic Art! When the painting was finally revealed at the end of the night, the couple’s reaction was absolutely priceless. Heather and Sean were so moved and overjoyed seeing their wedding day captured on canvas in such a beautiful and unique way. It was truly the perfect grand finale to an already incredible night, and a one-of-a-kind keepsake they’ll treasure forever!

What was the couple’s first dance song?
