Gold and White Wedding | Taylor and Matthew at the WDW Swan Reserve

WDW Swan and Dolphin Resort

THE LOW-DOWN

Local couple Taylor and Matthew held their elegant gold and white wedding in early July this year. Their ceremony took place at their local church, followed by a stunning reception at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. It was a joy for our team to help the happy couple celebrate with all of their dearest family members and friends!

We thought Taylor and Matthew did a lovely job capturing their gold and white wedding color scheme. They brought in a gold and glass display case to feature personal photos and glass bud vases filled with white flowers, which was a unique design element. They rented gold Chiavari chairs and gold-rimmed charger plates that really popped for their reception. And the white florals they included throughout their décor were so beautiful and timeless!

We also loved that the couple included a fun 360-degree photo booth. It was an entertainment element that their guests absolutely loved, and it captured some amazing moments from the Vue’s balcony!

WHAT WE LOVED

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Taylor and Matthew on their stunning gold and white wedding at the WDW Swan Reserve! We asked their Just Marry! wedding planner, Mairead, a few questions about the big day, and here is what she had to say:

  • How did the planning go with the couple?

It went so well! Taylor was a super organized bride, which is something I love as a planner. She really appreciated my contributions to her wedding planning, too. When I sent her the completed timeline for the wedding day, she was so grateful and relieved to have every single event detail organized in one document!

  • What was something about this wedding that really stood out to you?

I loved Taylor’s dress! It was sophisticated, elegant, and timeless.

  • What was something about the wedding day that you found particularly touching?

I grew very close with Taylor throughout our meetings, calls, and emails. She has the best personality and was so fun to work with! I was so happy when I saw her and Matthew do their room preview. Taylor had a specific vision for her wedding day, so their reaction was priceless when they entered the reception! Matthew’s dad, Eric, also made a beautiful toast welcoming Taylor into their family. It was so special!

  • What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?

Taylor and Matthew used the screen in the Vue Ballroom, and it really pulled the room together! It made such a statement.

  • What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?

“The Good Ones” by Gabby Barrett.
