THE LOW-DOWN
Morgan and Allen included many unique and trendy wedding elements in their elegant event at the WDW Swan and Dolphin Resort. Our team truly enjoyed helping this sweet Atlanta couple plan their Orlando destination wedding! Their cheerful and vibrant wedding color scheme included tones of ivory, pink, yellow, and coral, which perfectly blended the summer and fall seasons. We thought that was a great choice for their late September wedding. The fresh tangerines they added to their décor was also a lovely nod to their Florida locale!
The happy couple included many trendy wedding ideas in their event design. Their gorgeous, whimsical floral was very on-trend. Every bouquet, boutonniere, and centerpiece was unique! The bridesmaids also wore completely different dresses that complemented the floral tones. It made an unforgettable visual in their photos!
Morgan wore a modern sleeveless wedding dress with Swiss dots, which she accented beautifully with pearl accessories. Her veil even included a trendy bow! Then she changed into a fun party dress late in the reception, which is an increasingly popular wedding trend we love.

WHAT WE LOVED
Did you have to put on your “planning hero” cape at all for this event?
Not in a serious way, but it was hot day in Florida, and I held a mini handheld fan for the couple during their photos to keep them cool. My assistants and I kept getting them water, too. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference on the wedding day!
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
There were so many things! I just loved all of the whimsical floral. The bouquets were stunning, the groom had a floral pocket boutonniere (which I’m seeing a lot now!), and the invitation flat lay was breathtaking. Absolutely loved it!
The couple also brought four wine bottles to celebrate future milestones in their lives. They asked their guests to write kind messages related to each milestone on the bottles. Then, when the time comes, they will open the bottle of bubbly or wine and read the messages their close friends wrote them. I thought this was so unique and thoughtful!
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
The couple’s First Look! The groom got teary eyes and it was truly precious to see his reaction viewing his bride for the first time.
What trendy wedding elements did the couple include?
Instead of your traditional sit-down dinner reception, the guests’ dinner service was a more casual atmosphere where they could freely get up to eat, mingle, and continue dancing. There were a mixture of round tables and high/low cocktail tables and food stations set to allow guests the freedom to get up as they chose. Also, they held all speeches at their rehearsal dinner the night prior. The couple wanted the focus on the wedding day to be on the celebration and the incredible band they had. The dance floor was full the entire night! I loved how they incorporated this order of events.
What fun traditions did the couple celebrate?
