THE LOW-DOWN
Charlotte and Michael traveled all the way from Wales for their Disney destination wedding at the WDW Swan and Dolphin Resort last February. In fact, it was their first time visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth! This couple made sure their Orlando micro wedding was both fun and memorable. We loved having the opportunity to plan with them from afar and make sure everything went smoothly on the big day.
We thought Charlotte and Michael’s wedding color scheme of blush, white, and gold was so romantic and timeless! It worked perfectly for a late February wedding. Charlotte truly looked like a princess in her gorgeous tulle and lace ballgown, and Michael was every bit her prince in his classic three-piece suit.
There were many creative details to spotlight in this couple’s Disney destination wedding. From their Disney World wedding venue to the Mickey and Minnie ears they provided for their guests, they put careful thought into every element. We loved that they incorporated their First Visit and Happily Ever After pins in their wedding photos, and that Michael wore Mickey ear cuff links. And their Happily Ever After cake topper couldn’t have been more fitting to their theme!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The couple provided Mickey ears for their guests! They asked their guests to wear the ears while taking photos with the Polaroid camera they used for their guest book. It was such a cute touch, and a fun way to commemorate a Disney destination wedding!
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
I loved Michael and Charlotte’s overall excitement on their wedding day! Sometimes couples forget to let go of any lingering stress and enjoy their day, but that wasn’t the case with this couple. It was so sweet!
Where did the couple stay for their wedding?
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.
