THE LOW-DOWN
Christi and Evan’s January wedding was a stunning celebration filled with romantic details, highlighted beautifully by elegant wedding draping that transformed their ceremony space into something truly magical. The Tampa couple said “I do” at the gorgeous WDW Swan Reserve, hosting their ceremony in the Vue’s Oasis Ballroom. From the moment guests entered, it was clear this would be an unforgettable day, with every detail thoughtfully designed to reflect their classic blue and white color palette.
One of the most breathtaking elements of the day was the ceremony design. The couple completely transformed the Oasis Ballroom into a floral paradise. The aisle was fully lined with blue and white delphinium, roses, and hydrangeas, creating a lush and immersive experience for guests as Christi made her way down the aisle. At the altar, soft light blue fabric layered against crisp white created a dreamy backdrop, showcasing the beauty of the elegant wedding draping and tying seamlessly into their color scheme.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a reception filled with thoughtful and unique touches. A coffee bar with cordials was a big hit, giving guests a cozy and interactive experience. The couple also included an audio guestbook, allowing loved ones to leave heartfelt messages in a fun and memorable way.
One of the more unique elements of the evening was a palate cleanser course, adding a refined and unexpected touch to the dining experience. Christi also shared a special moment with members of her sorority, performing a meaningful song paired with a candle ceremony that added a personal and emotional layer to the celebration.
As the night continued, guests filled the dance floor, enjoying the incredible energy of a live band that kept the party going all evening long. To close out the celebration, everyone gathered to watch the Disney fireworks light up the sky — the perfect ending to such a beautiful day!

The Just Marry! team absolutely loved helping Christi and Evan bring their elegant wedding draping to life at the Swan Reserve! We asked their Day-of wedding coordinator, Emylie, to share some of her favorite moments from the big day, and this is what she had to say:
What was something about the wedding day that evoked emotion in you, the clients, and/or their guests?
The bride used the Vue’s LED screen to play a video of her and her dad dancing at Disney when she was a little girl and the video ended with her saying “I wanna dance with daddy.” She then had a recording of her reading a letter to her dad, and they went into their father/daughter dance!
What was something you did during the couples’ planning or on their wedding day that “saved the day”?
The couple really wanted an elegant night, and they put their trust in me as their planner to recommend ways that can enhance their night and fit their elegant vision. We added décor items, a palate cleanser course to their meal service, and other things to enhance the whole night for them!
