Alaska couple Paige and Sawyer planned their DIY micro wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs last November. We had the pleasure of partnering with them on their fall destination wedding as their Orlando Day-of Wedding Planners. Ellis and her team made sure all the DIY wedding elements the couple planned were perfectly executed on the event day. They wanted Paige and Sawyer to focus entirely on their love for one another!
The beautiful bride wore a trendy off-the-shoulder wedding dress, while her groom wore a collared shirt with a khaki-colored vest and pants. They paired so well together, and they couldn’t have been more appropriately dressed for the warm Orlando weather! Their blush and gold wedding color scheme was just as on-trend as their attire, and looked lovely against Paddlefish’s backdrop.
Paige and Sawyer’s DIY micro wedding allowed them to put their personal touches on almost every detail. The bride carried a DIY pink faux floral bouquet that looked so nice against her ivory wedding dress. Their reception tables were decorated with pink faux floral and gold framed photos of the couple that they designed themselves. Even their memorial table held framed photos with white and gold accents and more faux pink floral that fully captured their wedding theme.

What was something about this event that truly touched you?
The bride and groom ADORED each other! It was so sweet to see them interact all day. Their love for each other was so evident, and you could tell they really cherished every moment of their wedding day!
What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
Their cake décor! The couple has a dog and a cat, and their cake toppers resembled them. The dog cake topper looked as though the dog stole a bite of the cake – so cute! And the cat was placed on the second tier looking so precious. I loved the personal touches!
Where did the couple stay for their Orlando micro wedding?
The groom stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside and the bride got ready at the WDW Dolphin Resort.
