THE LOW-DOWN
Couples never want to think about having to pivot to their wedding Plan B, but unfortunately, that sometimes happens! That’s what sweet couple Molly and Stephen experienced for their Orlando micro wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs. They ventured to Central Florida from Salem, Massachusetts with their closest loved ones for their mid-April event. Our team partnered with them on their planning—including creating their wedding Plan B. So, when the unexpected happened, we rose to the occasion!
Molly and Stephen’s initial wedding planner, Heather, came down with a terrible flu right before their wedding. Thankfully, since our team is always prepared to step in when an emergency occurs, Ellis took over, bringing all of their plans together on the big day. But this wedding not only experienced a coordination change; it also rained, causing the ceremony to move inside.
On the bright side, Molly and Stephen took our advice and booked some gorgeous floral and décor, so even their indoor wedding Plan B space looked amazing! We just loved their ivory, soft blue, lavender, and gray wedding color scheme. It worked so well at their nautical venue, and perfectly captured their spring wedding season! Once the rain cleared, the happy couple got some lovely photos outside, so everything worked out in the end.
