THE LOW-DOWN
Morgan and Cole held their Disney princess wedding at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort on a warm summer day in mid-July. This sweet Maryland couple ventured to Orlando with their dearest family members and friends for their Florida destination wedding. Their outdoor ceremony took place on the sun-dappled Crescent Terrace, followed by a reception right out of a fairy tale in the WDW Swan Reserve’s Vue Ballroom. They even hired a horse and carriage, which we thought was perfect for a Disney princess wedding!
There were so many other fun wedding details to enjoy. Morgan and Cole’s decorations were themed to the Disney princesses, including lush florals with shades of deep purple, blush pink, buttery yellow, and soft blue. This immediately brought to mind images of Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Cinderella! Even the bridesmaids dressed to the Disney princess wedding theme, creating a royal rainbow of color framing Morgan and Cole as they exchanged their vows.
We loved that the couple’s wedding stationery and program fans were also Disney themed, in keeping with their chosen venue. At the reception, their tables were named after their favorite Disney love stories, which we thought was so romantic. They also included a scavenger hunt for their guests that prompted them to use their cameras to capture certain photos throughout the reception. This was such a thoughtful and clever touch!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
I loved how all the bridesmaids were dressed in colors inspired by a different Disney princess, and their flowers matched! It was so colorful and a really tasteful way to add a touch of Disney to their big day.
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
Morgan’s first look with her dad was so sweet, as were the two speeches by the groom’s older brothers. There was so much love and pride surrounding this couple!
Were there any fun surprises on the wedding day?
Yes! Mickey and Minnie were hired as a gift for the couple. They showed up just in time to surprise Morgan and Cole for their cake cutting. They were truly beside themselves with joy!
