Blush and Blue Wedding | Katie and Rob at Reunion Resort
THE LOW-DOWN
The gorgeous blush and blue wedding of Katie and Rob took place at Reunion Resort in late March earlier this year, but that wasn’t the initial plan! This sweet Florida couple was unfortunately one of our very first couples to have a wedding impacted by COVID-19. But they were understanding and resilient, and we were so excited to finally get to celebrate with them!
We loved Katie and Rob’s blush and blue wedding color scheme. It’s so on-trend and romantic, perfect for a spring wedding! They brought it out in traditional ways such as their floral, wedding cake, and attire, as well as fun and creative ways, like the binder holding the wording for their ceremony, the blue dog print brooch on Katie’s bouquet, and the blush-and-gold-colored mini liquor bottles they gave out as wedding favors. It all looked incredible and truly reflected Katie and Rob as a couple. We adored every element!

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Katie and Rob on their stunning blush and blue wedding at Reunion Resort! Here is what their Just Marry! wedding planner, Mairead, shared about their event:
- Most emotional moment
There were quite a few! Katie and her grandfather are very close, so she asked Reunion to raise a Marine’s flag to honor him. He loved the surprise! He also wanted to help carry her train after the ceremony, which was absolutely precious! He was so sweet. Katie also did a special dance with him, which had us all emotional! Another wonderful emotional moment was when Rob got teary-eyed when he saw Katie walk down the aisle…always a lovely moment!
- Most surprising moment
The Father of the Bride’s speech blew us all away! It was phenomenal. It was the perfect combination of humorous and touching. It truly was one of the best father’s speeches I have ever heard.
- Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Katie and Rob were my first clients who had to postpone because of COVID-19, so I was working with them for a long time! Once we got closer to their new wedding date, it was so nice to pick up where we left off! Katie, Rob, and Katie’s sister, Sarah, (who helped a lot with the planning!) remained positive throughout the whole postponement process, which I know wasn’t easy! I will truly miss working with them.
