THE LOW-DOWN
A caricature wedding artist was one of the most unforgettable details from Brian and Jonna’s March wedding at Loews Royal Pacific Resort. After being together for more than 30 years, the couple decided it was finally time to make things official surrounded by the people who mattered most to them. With 26 of their closest family members and friends in attendance, their wedding day felt intimate, joyful, and wonderfully personal from beginning to end!
Their Just Marry! wedding team helped bring together a relaxed waterfront celebration that perfectly reflected the couple’s easygoing personalities. Although the skies were cloudy throughout the day, the rain held off just long enough for Brian and Jonna to exchange vows on the beach with Universal creating the perfect backdrop behind them. The overcast weather actually gave the entire ceremony a cozy, romantic feel that made every moment even sweeter.
We thought Jonna looked timeless in her satiny white wedding gown. She added a delicate jeweled hair piece for just the right amount of sparkle, creating a classic bridal look that fit the beach setting beautifully. Brian added a fun pop of color with a light blue suit that was absolutely perfect for a waterfront wedding.
One of our favorite details from the evening had to be the reception entertainment at Tahitian. Instead of traditional wedding favors, Brian and Jonna surprised their guests with a live caricature wedding artist. Family and friends were able to sit down throughout the evening and have custom portraits drawn to take home as keepsakes from the celebration. Guests loved watching the drawings come to life, and it created such a fun, interactive atmosphere during the reception.
The couple also added plenty of personality to their wedding cake with adorable Funko Pop figures of themselves and their pets as the cake topper. It was such a playful touch and perfectly reflected their fun-loving personalities. Between the caricatures, dancing, dining, and heartfelt moments shared throughout the evening, every part of the celebration felt warm and genuine.
