It’s cool to have a nerdy wedding, and that’s just what sweet couple Lacey and Gilbert chose to do for their event at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. Their November micro wedding was filled with fun and customized nerdy elements that really captured their personalities. It was truly unlike any wedding we’ve ever had the pleasure of helping bring together!
Throughout their wedding design were subtle hints of Marvel superheroes, nods to games like Legends of Zelda, music inspired by their favorite anime, and odes to classic literature. They also wove in some more traditional wedding elements like their trendy dusty purple and gray wedding color scheme and the lovely decorated arbor for their ceremony. It all paired together seamlessly in an event that charmed and WOWed their guests. We were delighted to be a part of it!

Favorite detail
Each of the groomsmen and the groom had a different bowtie corresponding with a different Marvel hero. Instead of boutonnieres, they wore pins coordinating to their bowtie on their lapels. Our groom, Gil, also had matching socks to his bowtie and pins…Deadpool!

Most emotional moment
Their vows were so sweet and sincere! There wasn’t a dry eye as Gil read his aloud.

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
They had the coolest array of song choices! There were so many beautiful songs chosen to be played by their violinist. What made it so fun was that they were all songs from some of their favorite original movie scores, favorite video games, and favorite anime.
