Outdoor Winter Wedding at Paradise Cove | Kymberly and Anthony
Orlando is the perfect destination to have an outdoor winter wedding, and that just what Kymberly and Anthony did! They held their wedding at Paradise Cove this past January and our team had the pleasure of partnering with them on it. We loved that the happy couple included special Disney touches as well as other elements that truly made the day all about them.
One stand-out note about Kymberly and Anthony’s wedding was their obvious love not only for each other, but for the Green Bay Packers. They set that tone with their Save the Dates, where they both wore their Packers’ jerseys in the photo. Their wedding color scheme was green and gold, the Packers’ colors, and Kym wore glittery Packers’ Converse under her wedding dress. They even included a Packers’ cheese block head for their photo booth!
Among the Disney touches the couple included were the bride’s Minnie “Mrs.” pajama set she wore while getting ready, the Micky and Minnie-themed elements for their photos, vow books, and cake topper, and the words, “I Lava You” inscribed in Anthony’s ring. We thought this was all so fun, and perfect for their venue in Disney Springs!

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Kymberly and Anthony on their outdoor winter wedding at Paradise Cove! We asked their Just Marry! wedding planner, Kristen, a few questions about this event, and this is what she shared:

Did everything go according to plan on the wedding day?
It did, with one exception: some mischievous squirrels tried to steal some of the couples’ Gideon’s cookie favors! The moment our backs were turned, the squirrels tried to grab whole cookies and run off with them. Luckily, I was able to assign one of my assistants to guard the sweet treats. My tip? Always consider the local wildlife when considering food at outdoor weddings! 😉

What was something about this wedding that really stood out to you?
Both of their families were so sweet! Kymberly’s parents’ dynamic really stood out to me as something incredibly special. Her mother and father each had spouses with whom Kym was very close, so all four said incredibly heartfelt toasts. Kym also shared a first look with her dad and stepfather at the same time, and she had father-daughter dances with both of them. Her first dance with her father was to the song “The Bears Still Suck,” which had all of their guests chanting and cheering and laughing, while her dance with her stepfather was to “Return to Pooh Corner,” which was sweet and heartfelt.

What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
There were a few! Kymberly and Anthony had an audio guest book where guests recorded messages on a vintage phone that the couple could listen to later. This is definitely a hot trend right now, and I love the idea of being able to hear your guests’ voices and listen to their heartfelt messages whenever you’d like! They also rented faux floral from a florist. This is an awesome alternative for someone who doesn’t want a lot of floral left over at the end of the night. Such a nice alternative to carrying a heavy bouquet, as well! Anthony came in on a boat entrance, which was so cool, and he strayed from a traditional mother-son dance song and went with “Dear Mama” by 2Pac.

What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
“Lava” by Kuana Torres Kahele (from the Pixar Animated Short, “Lava.”) JW Jaeger played only the good, sweet parts of the song, and it was so precious! It’s one of my favorite Disney songs ever, so I enjoyed this moment so much!
