Astrology Wedding | Catalina and Matthew at Paradise Cove
Catalina and Matthew chose to have a beautiful astrology wedding at Paradise Cove in late January. We thought it was such a unique spin on the popular celestial wedding theme trending right now! They wove both themes seamlessly into a dreamy, starry night event we’re sure their guests won’t ever forget.
There were many elements that really brought this astrology wedding to life. The couple’s dusty blue, cobalt blue, and gold wedding color scheme was absolutely perfect for the theme, as well as a winter wedding on the lake. They also included astrology themed signage, decorative fabric, props, and stationery, including vow books that were a fun touch during their ceremony. Even while getting ready, the bride and her bridesmaids wore starry themed pajamas!
From the “moon rock” geode ring holder and gorgeous wedding cake to the starry twinkle lights decorating the pavilion like a canopy of stars, no detail was left unplanned. Extra touches like the Moon Pie wedding favors and the personalized biscuits from their sweet dogs showed a special focus on their guests. Then they topped off their celebration with a jaw-dropping fireworks display, pulling everyone’s attention to the moon and stars above.

Favorite detail
All of it! There was not a detail to be missed. The celestial and astrology wedding themes were beautiful throughout, from the table numbers to the cake, to the favors! The colors were so beautiful, and everything tied together perfectly!

Most emotional moment
When Catalina watched Matthew arrive to the ceremony on the boat, she began to tear up. This was the moment they had been waiting and planning for, and she was so excited to get married!

Most surprising moment
When the father of the bride did a surprise rap for all the guests during the reception!

A unique element I loved
I loved how Catalina’s brother was their officiant. He made the ceremony funny, sweet, and personal, and you could really feel the love in the air. I also loved that LuBelle’s Cakes created a custom flavor for their cake…churro!

Another detail I just had to share
This wedding was beautiful inside and out, but my favorite part was how you could see and feel all the love in that room. It was shared not only between Catalina and Matthew but with all their guests, as well. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their big day!
