THE LOW-DOWN
Taylor and Matthew held their romantic Orlando micro wedding at Paradise Cove this past January. Their aqua and plum wedding color scheme and their beautiful tropical floral perfectly captured the idea of a winter wedding in paradise! We especially loved that they included a few magical Disney touches for their destination wedding in Disney Springs.
While only eight guests attended their wedding with them, Taylor and Matthew were surrounded by love the entire day. This delightful UK couple wanted to be sure that their Orlando micro wedding included the traditions they most treasured, and we were happy to make sure it did! They had a first dance at their ceremony site and a cake cutting at their hotel suite afterwards, which was all they wanted to make their special day complete.

Did everything go according to plan on the wedding day?
It did, which made me so happy! This was such a fun wedding. It was clear everyone was there to celebrate Taylor and Matthew’s love for each other.

What was something that the couple said they most enjoyed?
Taylor and Matthew really wanted to have a traditional first dance after their ceremony. They were afraid it wouldn’t look “official” because they were a small group, and they didn’t know how to include their guests. I asked their guests to form semi-circles on either side of them to create the “dance floor” and leave an opening for the beautiful beach in the background. The photographer was able to get the shots they needed, and the couple loved it!

What was something about this wedding that truly touched you?
Their officiant, Katherine, helped make Taylor and Matthew a custom script for their ceremony. It included so many fun elements, like a pinky promise section and triple kiss – once for luck, twice for love, and thrice for long life. They enjoyed it so much and it was so fun to watch!
