When it comes to Orlando indoor wedding venues, the Omni Orlando Resort – Championsgate should be among the top choices for local and destination couples alike! That’s one of the reasons Marissa and Vitor held their mid-June wedding there last year. Working in the Orlando hospitality industry themselves, they knew the Omni was the perfect venue for their fun, elegant event. We were honored to be part of their special day as their day-of wedding planners!
Marissa and Vitor chose a wedding color palette of white, coral, blush, orange, and yellow with elegant crystal and gold accents. We thought it was perfect for a wedding held right as spring is transitioning into summer! The beautiful colors also brought in a touch of the tropics, celebrating their Florida wedding locale. The lush florals they included were a lovely way to bring out their color palette and create a gorgeous garden in their indoor wedding venue.
There were so many incredible details that it’s hard to share them all! From the cold sparklers surrounding the dance floor to the Disney nods in some of their wedding décor, this wedding felt like a fairy tale from beginning to end. The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Marissa and Vitor at their spectacular indoor wedding venue, the Omni Orlando Resort-Championsgate! We asked their Just Marry! wedding planner, Danielle, a few questions about their event and this is what she shared:
- Did you have to pull out any wedding planner tricks on the wedding day?
Actually, yes! A bridesmaid’s dress was loose on one of the sides, so our team came to the rescue with our handy emergency kits and got it safety-pinned so she was comfortable for the ceremony.
- What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
So many things! The couple included surprise after surprise, which was a lot of fun for their guests. Their outfit changes, blasting their guests with CO2 cannons on the dance floor, and Vitor “guest DJing” that night especially stood out. They also served late-night snacks and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice (which was even a surprise to the groom!). Marissa and Vitor made sure everyone was on their toes and amazed by their special day!
- What was something about this event that particularly touched you?
This was a special event to me since Marissa and Vitor are both in the hospitality industry and work closely with our team. It meant so much to be a part of their day, and was truly an honor! I always tear up watching our “friendors” walk down the aisle to each other to their new beginning as husband and wife!

- What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
