THE LOW-DOWN
Happy couple Shannon and Jeremy held their meaningful multicultural wedding at the Omni Orlando Resort – Championsgate in early April. They were surrounded by hundreds of their dearest family members and friends who were delighted to celebrate their marriage. We were honored to be a part of their big day as their reception coordinators!
Shannon and Jeremy captured the feel of their spring wedding with lots of lush florals and greenery in their event décor. Their wedding color scheme of hot pink, blush pink, white, and green also perfectly captured the season. Even the romantic “dancing on a cloud” element they included for their first dance tied into the seasonal elements. Think, “April showers bring May flowers.” Too fun!
The couple’s multicultural wedding elements honored both Christian and Hindu traditions. The women wore saris while the men wore suits. The bride wore a gorgeous western style bridal gown for the ceremony and part of the reception, then changed into an equally stunning eastern style sari, which her attendants also wore. The reception even included both eastern and western traditional dances. It all came together into an incredible night to remember!

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Shannon and Jeremy on their memorable multicultural wedding at the Omni Orlando Resort-Championsgate! We asked their Just Marry! reception coordinator, Kristen, a few questions about their event and this is what she shared:
- What was the planning experience like with the couple?
Shannon and Jeremy were such a pleasure to work with! Shannon had so many ideas that she wanted to bring to life, and I was so happy to assist her in any way I could. The couple and their friends and family were all so kind. I will truly miss working with them!
- What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
There were several incredible dances performed during Shannon and Jeremy’s reception. You could tell that the couple and their wedding party had so much fun performing them! It was so much fun to see the joy on all of their guests’ faces.
- What was something about this event that particularly touched you?
Shannon is the only girl in her family. You could see how special this day was for her and her father during their Father-Daughter dance. I found it so moving!
