Orlando couple Victoria and Gus held their stunning ballroom wedding at the Omni Orlando Resort – Championsgate in mid-August. This couple was so excited to finally celebrate their wedding day! Not even the rainy weather could get in the way of their happiness. We were so thrilled to be a part of their special day.
We loved this couple’s wedding color scheme of mauve, ivory, and rose gold. With some soft touches of blush mixed in, we thought it was the perfect summer wedding color palette! It all came together in a gorgeous, romantic look that suited their ballroom wedding.

Favorite detail
Victoria and Gus seemed like they were both pretty shy people, but when they were together it was clear that they bring out the best in each other! It was so sweet to watch them interact all day, from singing to each other on the dance floor, to Gus holding up her dress so that it wouldn’t get wet as they walked outside.

Most emotional moment
Victoria did a first look with her dad in her bridal suite before her first look with Gus. It was so sweet to see their close relationship through this special moment! There truly was not a dry eye around. He was so proud of his little girl and she was so excited for him to see her as a bride for the first time. During their father-daughter dance, that special relationship was shown even more! There were tears all around.

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
Victoria and Gus did a first look, and privately read their vows to each other then instead of during the ceremony. They were both so nervous, so this moment was extra special for the two of them to ease each other’s nerves and soak up a moment alone together!

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Victoria and Gus were so sweet and relaxed throughout the entire planning process. They were both just so excited to get married, they didn’t stress out over the details!

A unique element I loved
During the reception, Victoria’s parents did a special dance to their song. It was so sweet to see how strong their love has stayed over the years, and everyone sat and watched the two of them! It was so special to be a part of.
