The heart of spooky season is the perfect time to feature Danielle and Michael’s Friday the 13th wedding that our team had the pleasure of coordinating at the Hard Rock Hotel. This memorable Orlando micro wedding took place on Friday the 13th in October of last year, which couldn’t have been more ideal timing! Their black and purple wedding color scheme set the tone for the event, while details like their dog, Captain, serving as their “best dog” brought in personal touches we absolutely adored.
There were many thoughtful ways Danielle and Michael chose to celebrate their Friday the 13th wedding. Even before the actual wedding day, their stationery gave guests a preview of their theme with skeletons, black roses, and spiderwebs adorning it. Danielle’s black wedding dress also carried the theme, complete with a black jacket reading “Til Death.” Her spiderweb veil was a real showstopper, and her black and purple bouquet with spider charms and silver spiderwebs all over it couldn’t have been more suited to the theme!
Even the flower girl’s black basket fit the Friday the 13th wedding theme thanks to the hockey mask charm dangling from it. The couple’s wedding favors, friendship bracelets themed to the Friday the 13th movie and phrases like “Creep it Real,” were so much fun! And their after-party plan to attend Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights with their guests was the perfect topper to their unforgettable day.

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The couple’s Friday the 13th wedding theme! I’ve never coordinated a wedding like this one, which made it stand out for all the right reasons.
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
The family did a “pinky promise” vow as part of the ceremony. It was such a cute and touching moment for everyone!
