Florida couple Samantha and Gilbert chose a red and blue wedding color scheme for their big day at the Hard Rock Hotel. We thought it was a beautiful choice for their mid-February wedding date! With Valentine’s Day right around the corner and winter in the air, the hues of red and blue couldn’t have been more fitting. It looked amazing against the Hard Rock’s backdrop!
There were many fun and thoughtful ways Samantha and Gilbert brought out their red and blue wedding color scheme. Their floral was all in shades of red, burgundy, and navy blue. Their bridesmaids wore red dresses, and the groomsmen wore red ties. The couple had a red and blue sand unity ceremony and included a unique blue aisle runner. They even had a beautiful decorative Mr. and Mrs. wall set up for photo ops in red and blue!

It was such a pleasure for the Just Marry! team to help Samantha and Gilbert bring their red and blue wedding to life at the Hard Rock Hotel! We asked their wedding planner, Ellis, some questions about their event, and this is what she shared:
- What can you share about the planning process with this couple?
Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Ian, Samantha and Gilbert had to postpone their wedding, which was originally scheduled for last October. I helped ease the postponement process for the couple, ensuring the change was seamless and minimizing their stress. I wanted them to be just as excited for their new date as they were their first!
- What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The couple DIYed all the décor, linens, aisle runners, and chair covers themselves! The couple even painted and hand-labeled mini guitars with the guests’ names on them as their place cards. I thought that was such a unique touch
- What was something about the wedding day that really touched you?
The bride walking down the aisle! Samantha’s dress was stunning and there was a very long, navy-blue aisle runner she walked down. It made such a statement.
- What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
They had nice faux floral, and their guest book was a record with the couple’s picture and date on it that their guests signed. Such a creative idea for a wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel!
- Where did the couple stay for their wedding?
Hard Rock Hotel.
