THE LOW-DOWN
The Boho chic wedding of Joseline and Dominic took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in early June last year. This Harry Potter-loving Albuquerque couple chose to have a destination micro wedding here in Orlando. They exchanged their vows beside the Hard Rock’s tranquil lagoon in front of their dearest loved ones, then transitioned to Universal’s City Walk to keep the celebration going. With a cocktail hour at Krusty Burger and reception at Senor Frog’s, theirs was quite the memorable event!
Not only was the structure of Joseline and Dominic’s wedding a little untraditional, it also featured a few other unique elements. The couple’s dog, Troy, was their ring bearer, and they opted not to have a wedding party. They also included Harry Potter touches, such as the bride’s sneakers and the groom’s boutonniere. Even their wedding favors paid homage to the boy wizard.
But the Boho chic wedding elements really took center stage at this event. Joseline wore an elegant cape and a leafy, rhinestone hair vine. Her bouquet was crafted from paper flowers, buttons, and pearls, which was an especially lovely Boho touch. And the couple’s ceremony altar décor included a wooden triangle decorated with faux flowers and ferns, dried palm leaves, and wispy pampas grass. It all came together into such a beautiful wedding design!

It was a pleasure for the Just Marry! team to help Joseline and Dominic capture their Boho chic wedding theme at the Hard Rock Hotel! We asked their ceremony coordinator, Krista, a few questions about their event, and this is what she shared:
How did everything go on the wedding day?
Thankfully, everything went well! The couple decided to DIY their ceremony arch, and those types of projects can sometimes go awry. I’m glad it all worked out for this event!
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The couple’s guests had the opportunity to take a photo and print the photo out right there. Joseline provided a Harry Potter-themed guest book for the guests to tape the picture into, which I thought was perfect for their Universal wedding venue!
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
Their vows! They were so personal and sweet, and had the whole family crying happy tears.

The Hard Rock Hotel.
