THE LOW-DOWN

Katie and Brian had a romantic Disney micro wedding at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in the early days of March. The happy couple traveled to Orlando from Lexington, Kentucky to celebrate their special day with their loved ones. It was an honor for our team to be part of such an amazing day as their Orlando day-of wedding coordinators!

We thought Katie and Brian’s wedding color scheme of white and gold with greenery accents was perfect for a late winter wedding. Hosting their ceremony and reception inside was also a great choice, as it’s difficult to know what the weather will be like here in Orlando that time of year. Thanks to the design of the Wyndham’s event spaces that provides plenty of natural light, everything looked so beautiful in the couple’s photos!

We truly enjoyed some of the special touches Katie and Brian included to bring their Disney micro wedding to life. They had Disney-inspired table names, like “Enchantment,” and they included a rose inspired by Beauty and the Beast on their menus. Then they capped off their celebration with a viewing of Disney’s fireworks. It created such a magical moment for the couple and their guests!

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Katie and Brian on their Disney micro wedding at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek! We asked their wedding planner, Kaitlyn, a few questions about the event day, and this is what she shared:

What was your favorite detail from this wedding?

I loved the couple’s cake! The groom is an architect, so they decorated their wedding cake with skyscrapers and had sparklers coming out of it. It was so beautiful!

Tell us about a nontraditional choice made by the couple.

They had a sing-off at their reception, which was so unique and fun to watch!

Were there any other unique elements you loved?

Yes! Katie and Brian rented all of their faux floral and décor. It was a creative way for an out-of-town couple to be cost effective as well as not have a lot of items they needed to take home after the wedding!

What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?

“La Vie En Rose” by Louie Armstrong.
