Winter and Kevin chose December wedding colors to set the tone at their Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek wedding last year. The Orlando couple wanted their December 9th date (and the approaching holiday season) reflected in their carefully thought-out event design. We just loved how it all came together, and our team was so happy to help them bring their vision to life!
The December wedding colors chosen by Winter and Kevin were dusty blue, ivory, and gold. We thought this made for an elegant and timeless color scheme! Some of the ways the couple included their wedding colors were through their ivory and blue attire, their ivory and gold wedding stationery, and their ivory and dusty blue floral. Even their white and gold wedding cake with touches of dusty blue in the florals added to the overall look.
The gold metallic accents throughout Winter and Kevin’s event design added another layer of sophistication. They included these accents on their memorial table, their charger plates, and the gold hoop they used for ceremony and sweetheart table décor, among others. It couldn’t have been more well-suited to the holiday season!

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed helping Winter and Kevin feature their December wedding colors at their Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek event! We asked their wedding planner, Ellis, a few questions about the event day, and this is what she shared:
How was our team most helpful to the happy couple?
The bride incorporated beautiful DIY décor elements all throughout her wedding, and our team was able to execute the vision perfectly! I’m thankful we were able to assist with the setup so that the couple and their parents didn’t have to. Our goal is to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the big day!
What notable tradition(s) did the couple celebrate?
Jumping the broom! Once the couple was pronounced and before they recessed, they “jumped the broom.” It was the same broom that Kevin’s parents jumped over for their wedding. It was so sweet and special!
What about the wedding day truly touched you?
Their personal vows! I absolutely love when couples do this because it tells their story in front of their closest family and friends.
What other fun elements did the couple include?
Winter and Kevin had mini kissing bells for guests to ring at their tables. It was so cute, and I had never seen this before!
