THE LOW-DOWN
A Cinderella carriage set the tone for Stephanie and David’s dreamy June elopement at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort, creating a wedding day that felt straight out of a modern fairytale. This sweet couple chose to celebrate their love in the most intimate way possible with a just-the-two-of-them elopement. Even without guests, their day was filled with meaningful moments, classic style, and a little Disney magic woven in throughout. Although a rainy summer afternoon moved their ceremony indoors, it only added to the cozy, romantic feel of the day.
Stephanie looked like a true Hollywood starlet in her timeless fitted gown, complete with elegant lace gloves that added vintage glamour. David complemented her perfectly in a crisp black tux, finished with a neutral rose boutonniere. One of our favorite subtle details was David’s hidden Mickey Mouse socks, a sweet nod to the couple’s shared love of Disney that brought a playful touch to his classic look.
Before the ceremony, the couple shared an emotional first look in front of a Cinderella-style horse and carriage. This moment was quiet, heartfelt, and incredibly special, setting the tone for the rest of their elopement. Their indoor ceremony featured a unique unity braid, symbolizing the intertwining of their lives in a deeply personal way.
After exchanging vows, Stephanie and David sealed their marriage with a kiss and then enjoyed a private dance together as a live violinist played just for them before making a grand exit in their Cinderella carriage. It was an intimate celebration that felt both luxurious and deeply meaningful, proving that even the smallest weddings can be filled with unforgettable moments!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The couple was eloping and solely had themselves at the wedding. Their first dance was really special with just Stephanie and David dancing while the violinist played. They also had a unity braid, which I had personally never seen before!
What was something about the wedding day that evoked emotion in you, the couple, and/or their guests?
The bride’s dress was something special–truly old Hollywood vibes and she paired it with lace gloves that really made the whole look! David wore Mickey Mouse socks as a nod to their shared interest in Disney, and the vows included Disney as well.
