We just love planning beach destination weddings here at Just Marry!, and that’s exactly what Jordan got to do when she started working with Orlando couple, Samantha and Jorge. Their beautiful fall wedding took place in late October at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Beach weddings require careful planning, especially when from a distance, but Jordan rose to the challenge to help Samantha and Jorge bring their wedding dreams to life!
The happy couple chose an elegant black, red, and gold wedding color scheme with accents of blue for their special day. Samantha wore a sleek, mermaid style wedding dress that was a great choice for a beach destination wedding. Jorge’s classic black suit and tie complemented his bride’s style and their event’s aesthetic perfectly!
Among some of our favorite elements Samantha and Jorge thought to include where the trendy champagne cart that welcomed their guests to the ceremony, the oversized wine bottle they chose as their guest book, and the custom glow sticks they offered their guests to light up the dance floor. Every detail was carefully thought out, and it all came together into an event we’ll never forget! It was such an honor for our team to be part of it.

What was your focus during the planning with the happy couple?
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
- The couple asked their guests to wear black.
- Prior to the ceremony, the couple included a champagne cart with welcome drinks for guests to take upon their arrival.
- The couple incorporated their dog Bella into their ceremony as the ring-= bearer.
- Bella popped up again in the signature drink, “Bella’s Spicy Cucumber Margarita.”
- The couple’s other signature drink was an espresso martini with a custom sugar crust with a photo of the couple on top.
