Kendra and Manny included so many creative Stars Wars wedding ideas in their Rosen Shingle Creek wedding last May. Kaitlyn Connors from our team was honored to work with this local couple as their Orlando Day-of wedding coordinator! She had so much fun helping them bring all of their thoughtful wedding plans to life on the big day.
We thought Kendra and Manny wedding color scheme of blush, burgundy, and white was perfect for a spring wedding! It was so romantic and timeless, and worked beautifully at their venue. Manny’s burgundy paisley suit jacket was probably our favorite accessory that captured their colors. It looked amazing on him!
There were so many Star Wars wedding ideas included in Kendra and Manny’s wedding design that it’s hard to pick our favorites. Their wedding date of May the 4th certainly makes the top of the list, as does their custom wedding cake featuring Han Solo, Princess Leia, Darth Vadar, and a Stormtrooper. Their sign reading, “These are the Seats You’re Looking for” was so creative, and their Star Wars themed table names stole the show. Who wouldn’t love sitting at the Obi “One” Kenobi or the R2D2 table?

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed helping Kendra and Manny implement all of their fun Star Wars wedding ideas! We asked their Day-of wedding planner, Kaitlyn, a few questions about the big day and this is what she shared:
What was your favorite detail?
I loved all the décor that Kendra made. She did it all herself and it turned out great! I think my favorite detail, though, was the place cards with little light sabers on the sides. They were so cute!
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
Watching Kendra walk down the aisle. The moment was so sweet! There were lots of tears of joy throughout the ceremony.
Were there any unique elements that stood out to you
Yes! Kendra and Manny did a tequila shot unity ceremony. It was something I hadn’t seen before and added a fun element to their ceremony.
