Broken Arch Wedding Floral | Katie and Nick at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

THE LOW-DOWN

Katie and Nick’s March wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress was an elegant affair from start to finish, with their stunning broken arch wedding floral design taking center stage. The New Jersey couple brought 74 of their closest friends and family to Orlando for a celebration filled with timeless style, personal touches, and plenty of love. We loved being part of their special day as their Day-of wedding planners and cherished every moment spent bringing their vision to life!

Katie and Nick’s color palette of black and white with pops of greenery and soft pinks set the stage for a sophisticated yet romantic celebration. The true showstopper, though, was their stunning broken arch wedding floral, which beautifully showcased their chosen colors. This gorgeous arrangement framed their ceremony perfectly, then made a second appearance behind their sweetheart table at the reception, creating a seamless flow between the two spaces.

Their reception décor carried the elegance through every detail. Sparkly blush linens brought a touch of glamour to each table, while tall centerpieces added height and drama to the room. Their furry family member wasn’t forgotten either—guests were treated to custom cocktail napkins and wedding programs featuring their dog, a sweet nod that added warmth and personality to the day.

WHAT WE LOVED

The Just Marry! team was delighted to help Katie and Nick bring their gorgeous wedding to life at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress! Here are just a few of the highlights their wedding planner, Emylie, shared about their big day:

What was something about this event that really stood out to you and made it different?

Katie had an entire wedding day “Bible,” complete with everything from a detailed picture of the ceremony site,  showing the items she had us set up cropped into the photo exactly where she wanted them, to photos of her bridal party (which was great for my assistants who weren’t at the rehearsal, so they knew who was who) and pictures of how she wanted each place setting arranged. If I have a bride with a specific vision, I love when they provide exact details of how they want everything set up so we can fulfill that vision!

What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?

A stunning broken arch for their ceremony, which was then moved behind the sweetheart table for reception. It was so gorgeous!

What fun traditions did the couple celebrate?

They did do a cake cutting but it was unannounced; many people still came to watch, but it didn’t take away from the people who wanted to stay on the dancefloor!
