Green Wedding | Olivia and Marco at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Maryland couple Olivia and Marco chose the theme “Green Wedding” for their event at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in early November. The theme couldn’t have been more perfect, as this was the groom’s last name! We just loved how they played off that and made it part of their wedding design. It was a wonderful way to reflect the joining of their families.

The couple’s wedding color scheme of white and green was soft, romantic, and natural looking. It truly captured their Green Wedding theme! They included a sage green accent color in their stationery and their invitation seal, the bridesmaids wore green dresses, and they had a greenery wreath motif on their ring box. But our favorite green wedding details were the custom “The Greens” neon sign hanging behind their sweetheart table and the “Mrs. Green” Margarita they offered as a signature drink. Such thoughtful personal touches!

Another unique theme Olivia and Marco chose to include was that of “opposites attract.” They had a sign explaining the physics of “opposites attract” on their gift table, as well as a neon sign reading, “When Opposites Attract” for their photo booth. The bride even wore two “opposite style” dresses: the first, a classic style with a V-neckline and subtle rouching that looked incredible on her. The second, a high-fashion, glittery, beaded dress with a trendy one-shoulder strap that had fabric flowing from it like a layered cape. The dresses blended timeless with cutting-edge. This was a fun secondary theme we just loved!
