Megan and Peyton held their beautiful pink and gray wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in late July last year. This sweet couple traveled to Orlando from Summerville, South Carolina with their dearest loved ones to host their unforgettable destination wedding. Our team had the pleasure of working with them as their Day-of wedding planners, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time with them!
This warm summer wedding was perfect for this southern couple. They went with a soft, modern vibe for their event, with touches of their pink and gray wedding color scheme appearing in their stationery, signage, and vow books. Their reception also featured beautiful dark gray linens topped with fresh white and pink florals combined with pink lighting that created such a romantic celebration space.
Megan wore an absolutely stunning satin and lace ballgown embellished with pearls and sequins. She looked like she had stepped directly out of a fairytale and straight down the aisle! Peyton complimented her perfectly in his dark gray suit with a pink tie. They kept their pink and gray wedding colors through the wedding party attire, as well, weaving pink pocket squares and bouquets of pink florals into the outfits.

What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
Megan danced with her mom to “Slipping Through My Fingers” by Abba and it was adorable! I’m close with my own mom, so I love it when the bride does something special like this.
What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
They had a neon sign with their last name hanging over their sweetheart table. I always love those! It’s such a fun way to add personal décor to the room. The bride and groom also got everyone glow-in-the-dark glasses to wear at night during dancing. All of the guests loved them, and it was a great way to get them out on the dance floor!
What was the most unexpected thing that you helped the couple with?
The day before the wedding, we needed to change the seating because some guests dropped out, but the bride didn’t have her laptop! I went online and revised the seating chart and diagram for her and sent it out to the vendors. Problem solved!
