Florida couple Victoria and Matthew chose an Italian wedding theme for their event at the Portofino Bay Hotel in mid-February last year. Their theme was important to them because their original plans to get married in Italy were impacted by COVID. They couldn’t have picked a better venue to bring Italy into the heart of Orlando!
There were so many incredible details that brought Victoria and Matthew’s Italian wedding theme to life. Their stationery was rough-cut with delicate gold detailing, giving it an Old-World Italian feel. Their ceremony décor included a rustic, curved arbor, potted urns with overflowing florals, and tall gold urns filled with feathers. Their centerpieces were made up of various carved busts or crystal chandeliers accented with floral, fabric, or feathers inside a detailed wood frame. Even their tables were named after Italian cities!
For the ceremony, Victoria wore a lace wedding dress in keeping with Italian tradition, with long sleeves, a full layered skirt, and an elaborate train. She also wore a stunning tiara with her veil that we loved! For the reception, she changed into a stunning second gown that looked like it came off a runway in Milan. Perfectly complementing his stunning bride, Matthew wore a deep purple Italian style wedding suit, complete with a waist chain and elegant tie brooch. Their attire was just the right touch to bring their Italian wedding theme together!
