THE LOW-DOWN
Veronica and Manuel chose a Beauty and the Beast theme for their romantic vow renewal at the Portofino Bay Hotel. The theme’s design elements and color scheme were perfect for their late December event! We love that Veronica and Manuel chose this theme to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary as well as Veronica’s birthday. It was so much fun to work with this sweet Maryland couple on such a special occasion!
The happy couple included tones of blush, burgundy, ivory, and gold in their décor, floral, and attire. Their color scheme captured their Beauty and the Beast theme while remaining in keeping with the Portofino’s natural styling and ambience. We could clearly picture the wintry scene from the movie even here in Central Florida!
Also among our favorite themed elements in their décor were the scattered red roses, gilded gold frames, teapot and teacup accents, piles of books, and the gorgeous Cogsworth-like clock. The handheld mirror, Beauty and the Beast mosaic, and Beauty and Beast guestbook were extra magical touches. But the iconic glass-covered rose really brought their theme home!

All of the Beauty and the Beast elements Veronica brought in for the décor were subtle but amazing! Linens and Flowers Design then dressed everything up and made it all look effortlessly complete. It was so well done and thought-out. Simple, romantic elegance!

I know it was a joy for them to spend this time with their closest friends and family members who have been—and continue to be—the greatest testaments to their love story!
