Jackie and Mike chose to host a Harry Potter wedding at the Portofino Bay Hotel in the first week of May. This happy couple traveled to Orlando from their home state of Missouri to celebrate with their closest family members and friends at Universal Resort Orlando. It was an honor for our team to be a part of their event!
We loved Jackie and Mike’s wedding color palette of soft peach, pastel blue, and ivory. It was perfect for their spring wedding! They brought it out in lovely ways, such as in their beautiful wedding cake and gorgeous floral. It was a color scheme we don’t see often, but it couldn’t be more suited to a Florida wedding!
The DIY Harry Potter details included by the couple were also so much fun. From their “Amortentia” signature cocktail named after the famous love potion in the books to their Harry Potter themed signage, there was something themed everywhere you looked. The guests even had wands at their place settings…a perfectly magical touch!

Favorite detail
All of the DIY décor and personalized stationery/signage made by the bride and her family. It was so detail oriented and went together with everything perfectly! Jackie’s father even created a Hogwarts inspired ‘crest’ with their new last name across it. SO cute and creative!

Most emotional moment
Jackie and Mike invited their kids to stand next to them during the ceremony to all say vows together. Everyone loved it, and I’m sure it made an amazing memory for all of them!
