THE LOW-DOWN
Orlando couple Stephanie and Jake held their beautiful boathouse wedding at Evermore Resort just outside Disney Springs. Their spring wedding took place in late March, and it was one of the first events ever held at this stunning new Orlando wedding venue! Our team was honored to partner with the happy couple as their Day-of Wedding Coordinators.
Stephanie and Jake chose to have a brunch wedding, something we always enjoy. The weather is generally nicer for outdoor ceremonies earlier in the day, and the food options for brunch weddings appeal to such a wide variety of tastes. When it comes to Disney area weddings, another bonus when having a brunch wedding is the timing allows couples and their guests to head to the parks in the afternoon to keep the celebration going!
We thought the couple’s wedding color scheme of ivory and blush was perfect for a spring boathouse wedding. It looked amazing with the turquoise lagoon as their backdrop! We also loved the personal touches Stephanie and Jake included in their wedding, from DIYing some of their décor to having a La Hora Loca during the reception. It all perfectly captured the story of their relationship and made the day all about them.

WHAT WE LOVED
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The bride is from Peru and many of her family members speak Spanish as their first language. Jake wrote personal vows and shared them during the ceremony. What was so special about this is that he said them in English and translated them in Spanish, too! He vowed to learn Spanish so he could better communicate and grow closer to her family. It was such a sweet moment!
