THE LOW-DOWN
The romantic autumn wedding of Angie and Matthew took place at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in late November. This happy couple ventured to Orlando from Ohio to host their intimate destination wedding. It was an event they and their guests will never forget!
We loved the seasonal elements Angie and Matthew thought to include in their autumn wedding. They had rustic galvanized steel vessels filled with colorful fall blooms set on wooden crates to frame their altar area. Paired with a simple wooden arbor decorated with burlap and lace, it was a lovely touch to bring out their fall wedding theme.

Favorite detail
Angie rented an arch and a friend of hers did a great job decorating it. It was themed perfectly for an intimate autumn wedding!

Most surprising moment
Angie and Matthew did not plan for a first dance, but their photographer asked them to “pose” like they were dancing. The violinist was playing in the background, and they ended up having an impromptu first dance. Everyone stopped what they were doing to watch them, as it was so intimate and romantic!

Most emotional moment
Angie was escorted down the aisle by her two sons. She didn’t see them at all on the wedding day until it was time to walk down the aisle. She was overcome with love and emotion over her children being such an important part of her big day!

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
Angie and Matthew hosted a brunch for their guests immediately following the ceremony. Everyone had traveled from out of state, so it was the perfect way for their closest friends and family to celebrate their love. I think it’s safe to say that the Mickey waffles were a big hit!
