THE LOW-DOWN
We’re still swooning over the enchanting Mickey and Minnie wedding of Asia and Daniel, who tied the knot with a fairy tale celebration at Shades of Green. Traveling all the way from Oklahoma, this sweet couple’s wedding was intimate, imaginative, and full of Disney magic. Just Marry! had the pleasure of partnering with them as their day-of wedding coordinator, bringing all of their fun ideas to life!
The Magnolia Patio made for a stunning backdrop to their autumn outdoor ceremony. Beneath the sparkling market lights, Josepha and Sherman exchanged vows surrounded by warm fall air and golden hour glow. They incorporated a rose unity ceremony—a beautiful nod to their love of Beauty and the Beast —that added an extra layer of meaning.
Asia was an absolute vision in an off-the-shoulder lace gown, and we loved how she paired it with a decorative headband instead of a veil—so romantic! Daniel brought personality and charm in a blue suit, red tie, white sneakers, and a crisp white rose boutonniere. Their attire perfectly complemented their wedding colors of white, gold, red, and blue.
From the very beginning, their Mickey and Minnie wedding was full of magical Disney-inspired touches. At the ceremony, fans featuring designs of the famous mouse couple helped keep everyone cool, a smart and thoughtful move for unpredictable fall weather here in Orlando! Inside the reception space, Mickey pomander centerpieces added a playful and elegant touch to the décor. The dessert table stole the show with its mini cake topped by an adorable Mickey and Minnie figurine and hidden Mickeys peeking out from the frosting. Even the wedding favors were Disney themed—guests went home with the cutest Mickey and Minnie cookies as a sweet memory of the day.
Instead of going with a single large cake, Asia and Daniel treated their guests to a full dessert buffet. The display was colorful, fun, and oh-so-tasty, filled with a variety of sweet treats. The mini cake, with its hidden Mickey details, added the perfect whimsical finish and served as the crown jewel of the table.

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Asia and Daniel brought all of their own décor! For their reception, they thrifted books beforehand, and then placed lanterns on top of them. It was a tasteful Beauty and the Beast meets Harry Potter aesthetic!
What modern or trendy wedding elements did the couple include?
They included a Beauty and the Beast themed candy buffet at the end of their reception, which was an absolute favorite among guests! The macaroon cake was one of my favorite parts, which featured gorgeous rose detailing.
