THE LOW-DOWN
Disney grooms Olin and Rick weren’t about to let a little rain put a damper on their June wedding at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The beach wedding they initially planned was pulled indoors when Mother Nature made herself known, but this couple was just happy to be getting married! They actually got some really cool photos due to the weather, so that proved to be a rather magical silver lining.
We thought the couple’s decision to wear lightweight blue and pink jackets with dress shorts was the perfect choice for a June wedding in Central Florida. The other choices they made were also spot-on, with many personal touches bringing it all together into a wonderful celebration of the two of them. It was a joy for our team to be a part of such a special event!

Most surprising moment
Rick choreographed a full dance to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Starship that took place immediately after the ceremony! Rick and Olin were perfectly in sync, and it was such a fun, unique, and special element to their wedding day. It showcased their kind, lighthearted, and creative personalities! You could see the pure joy and hear the laughter from both the couple and their guests!

The grooms chose a Mickey themed cake and dessert bar. It was the perfect Disney touch for their Swan event, and their guests loved it!

Another detail I just had to share
The grooms traveled from their home state of Texas to have a Disney destination wedding. They spent the week at all the Disney parks with their family and friends!

A unique element I loved
Olin and Rick had framed photos from their time together as a couple as their centerpieces. We set one on each cocktail table for their reception. It was another unique and personal touch I adored!
