Tangled Wedding | Christy and Michael at the WDW Swan and Dolphin
THE LOW-DOWN
Avid Disney fans Christy and Michael chose a Tangled wedding theme for their event at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in early March. They traveled to Orlando from New York to celebrate with their closest family members and friends. It was an honor for our team to be a part of their special day!
Among some of our favorite elements from their Tangled wedding were the Pascal cuff links Michael wore and the Pascal pin in Christy’s bouquet, their Tangled-themed aisle runner and lanterns lining the ceremony aisle, and their magnificent Tangled wedding cake. Their pink, purple, and white floral and other elements were also wonderful details that helped bring their wedding theme to life!
We also enjoyed how Christy and Michael captured their love of Disney through some of the events of the day. In addition to their romantic outdoor wedding on the Swan’s Crescent Terrace, they held their first look at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, had their portraits taken at Disney’s Boardwalk, and held their reception at Paddlefish Disney Springs. The couple and their guests got to truly celebrate their wedding as well as their love of Disney!

The Just Marry! team so enjoyed working with Christy and Michael on their beautiful Tangled wedding at the WDW Swan! Here is what their Just Marry! wedding coordinator, Leanna, shared with us about their event:
- A unique element I loved
Christy’s brother, Jeff, escorted her down the aisle while Michael’s grandfather waited for them at the top of the stairs to the ceremony platform. Then grandfather Terry took Jeff’s place and finished escorting the bride the remainder of the way to her awaiting groom. It was such a lovely way to unite these families before the vows were even exchanged!

- Another detail I just had to share
This couple had been through the ringer with postponements, having to deal with heavy rain on the morning of the wedding, and then strong winds during the ceremony. Seeing them so happy and enjoying their long-awaited and truly spectacularly clear-skied wedding day filled everyone’s hearts!
