Rachael and Ben chose the Universal Orlando wedding venue the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort for their mid-October wedding last year. This wedding was hands-down one of the most original events we had the pleasure of planning all year! From the bride’s purple faux-hawk to the event’s bright, teal blue floral, it was truly an event to remember!
The color scheme for Rachael and Ben’s wedding was black, purple, and teal, very fitting for an autumn wedding so close to Halloween. They brought out their color scheme in many fun ways, from their attire and their shoes to their wedding cake, which looked simply stunning with the delicate teal lace patterns. Favorite detail
Rachael and Ben’s cake made by the Sapphire Falls team turned out so beautifully! Their cake topper with “How to Train Your Dragon” characters was just adorable, and something I hadn’t ever seen before.

Most surprising moment
I didn’t know that the bridesmaids were all going to wear coordinating shoes. That was such a great surprise, and it was so cool to see all of the unique designs that were on their heels!

A unique element I loved
The couple brought in quite a few DIY elements that really gave the wedding that perfect personal touch. From their floral to their wedding favors, you could tell that they really put a lot of thought into their wedding!

What the couple wore
The bride wore an amazing black and purple high-low dress that fit perfectly with their wedding color scheme! She looked absolutely amazing!
