Harry Potter Wedding | The Sapphire Falls Wedding of Laurel and Richard
Laurel and Richard held their Harry Potter wedding at the beautiful Loews Sapphire Falls Resort in mid-March. They narrowly averted a rainstorm before exchanging their vows in front of their closest family and friends at the resort’s Water Wheel. It turned out to be a day to remember!
We loved that Lauren and Richard embraced their wedding’s Harry Potter theme. From their officiant dressed in witch’s robes to their custom wands, they included many fun details that made their wedding truly magical! The resort’s stairwell with romantic “floating candles” was another wonderful accent for their theme. They even transitioned into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando after their event, which was a perfect way to end their wedding day!

Favorite detail
Laurel and Richard’s officiant, Katherine Imundi, completely transformed into Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter for the ceremony! This was a great touch that infused extra magic into their special day. She came complete with the robes, witch’s hat, wand, and even an owl! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this unique detail and it made for wonderful photos.

This couple’s love made the clouds part on their wedding day! They tied the knot with their closest family by the Water Wheel at Sapphire Falls amongst the natural flora. They are huge Harry Potter fans, so they brought their wands for the wedding photos and made the unbreakable vow to each other during the ceremony. It was a magical day!
