Our final wedding of 2020 was the beautiful New Year’s wedding of Mallorie and David at the Portofino Bay Hotel. This happy couple traveled to Orlando from their home state of Michigan to celebrate with their closest family members and friends at Universal Resort Orlando. It was an honor for our team to be a part of their event!
We enjoyed the classic, elegant color palette Mallorie and David chose for their wedding. The bridesmaids wore soft gold dresses the color of champagne, perfect for a New Year’s wedding! The groom and his groomsmen paired perfectly with them in their trendy blue suits. It all came together in a glamorous wedding look we won’t soon forget!

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
David was raised Catholic, so he wanted to have a feeling of that involved in the ceremony. We hired Bishop White as the couple’s officiant. He entwined some great Catholic-style elements with a modern and traditional ceremony to fit both Mallorie and David. Everyone really enjoyed it!

A unique element I loved
The trees in the reception space! When Mallorie saw a photo of the trees, she just HAD to have them. They were such a WOW statement in the reception room and made it so uniquely their event. Mallorie loved the trees so much she even had Patrick take photos of her with them!
