THE LOW-DOWN
Orlando couple Mileena and Keith wanted their wedding to be a multicultural event reflecting all of their most honored traditions. Our team was delighted to help them bring their vision to life as their reception coordinators! We thought their choice of venue, the Omni Orlando Resort-ChampionsGate, was an ideal location for their mid-May celebration with hundreds of their loved ones in attendance.
Mileena and Keith chose a classic black and white wedding color scheme, accenting it with warm gold metallics throughout. We thought it was a lovely choice! The bride wore an elegant ballgown with a beaded top and an elaborate headpiece, while her groom wore a traditional black tux with a bow tie. They looked incredible together!
The happy couple did a wonderful job of including treasured traditions in their multicultural event. The reception truly celebrated the bride’s Middle Eastern culture. We loved that Mileena and Keith were escorted together to their reception with a traditional Zaffe, or procession of drums and dancing. They also performed a sword dance, which was exciting and fun to see!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
All of the special moments to honor their different cultures! They had a traditional reception entrance with drummers to begin their celebration, which made such a wonderful impact.
What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
Seeing Keith and Mileena being so in love and supportive of each other the entire day. You could see how happy they were!

What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
The décor was just stunning! The white and gold elements were very classic and elegant. They included a floral wall that was adored with feathers and a neon sign, which made a dramatic backdrop for photos. And the glossy, white, wrapped dance floor with the custom monogram was an elegant touch, too!
