Lord of the Rings Wedding | The Royal Pacific Wedding of Alyssa and Mitchell
Alyssa and Mitchell hosted a spectacular Lord of the Rings wedding at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando in mid-December last year. The initial plan was to have their ceremony on the resort’s Croquet Lawn followed by an outdoor reception in the Wantilan Pavilion. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so they ended up having a beautiful ballroom wedding instead!
There were so many elements to love about Alyssa and Mitchell’s wedding! They didn’t just capture Lord of the Rings in their theme, they included elements from Star Wars and Dr. Who, as well. We truly enjoyed how this couple reflected their personalities in their wedding theme!

Favorite detail
I absolutely loved Alyssa and Mitchell’s stunning décor! They chose the Dragonwood Branch Arch from Raining Roses with white and blue floral accents. The couple brought the most beautiful light blue Lord of the Rings banners to hang in-between the arch. At the reception, they had Lord of the Rings-inspired wine bottles, table names, and book page floral accents as their centerpieces. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every detail!

A unique element I loved
During the reception, the couple surprised their guests with a Lord of the Rings performance! A musician played classic music from the hit films while a dancer dressed as one of the characters performed traditional dances from the series. It was so fun to see the guests and the couple join in the dancing! Everyone had a great time!
