Local couple Micaela and Alex were married at the Lake Mary Events Center on the first day of fall in September. This happy couple wanted to embrace their fall wedding date while adding their personal touches throughout their wedding design, which is exactly what they did! We loved the many thoughtful details they thought to include.
Micaela and Alex’s wedding color scheme was classic white with greenery accents and touches of elegant black. The sunflower details on their stationery and fun pastel pumpkin décor elements really captured their fall theme. They brought in more of the outdoors with their natural wood ceremony arbor decorated with fresh floral. Even Micaela’s wedding dress brought in hints of the outdoors with beautiful floral patterns in the lace!

Did you have to pull out any of your planner tricks for this event?
Actually, yes! When Micaela’s dress didn’t have a bustle, I safety pinned it in place so that she could move around and do her first dance without having to worry.

What was something about this wedding that really stood out to you?
The couple had a dessert bar instead of a traditional wedding cake, which was a hit with their guests!! They had so many goodies and offerings. There was something for everyone!

What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
“Death of a Bachelor” by Panic! at the Disco.

What touched you the most about this wedding?
This was a special wedding, as the groom was the brother of a former Just Marry! team member. Getting to plan and coordinate a day for someone’s family who means so much to you is always such an honor! It means the world knowing our Just Marry! family members trust us with the important events in their lives.
